I'm having a Chicken nuggets TV dinner. It has Corn and Macaroni & Cheese, and of course chicken nuggets.

For my Birthday dinner this month I'm getting 2 Big Macs and large fries from McDonald's.

I turn 50 this month November 30th, uck.

What happened to when I was 18? I'd love to go back to that time. Oh well, life goes on. This getting old stuff really sucks.

Damn right it does. Wait til yer 63!

Luckily I can still drink and smoke dope, cook, play chess, and say stupid things with no shame at all. I also like putting the top down and going 100 at 3AM on an empty interstate.

I'm having a late lunch today, gonna be a frozen dinner, chicken potpie. You preheat the oven at 350 degrees then put the frozen dinner in the oven for 30 minutes. All TV dinners take 30 minutes at 350 degrees, I don't care what it says on the box.

I'm having Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup. Its the dry package kind. Pour the package into 4 cups of boiling water and reduce the heat to a simmer for 5 minutes uncovered. I made mine in advance, so all I have to do now is reheat it when I'm ready to have some.

It is Mardi Gras parade time we are in the count down now to the big day, 100 lbs of crawfish boiled 30 lb potatoes and 50 ears of corn, 5 lb mushroons, 20 lbs deer sausage, 20 lb onions plus a couple bags lemons, 6 bunches celery, 10 whole clusters of garlic, all the proper seasonings 5 huge king cakes all the beer, wine, coke and sweet tea you can drink, if I were to guess there are probably 60 people in my yard, a great day with family and friends and we are doing it again next weekend thru MG day, loving this time of year.

BEST HAM SANDWISHES YOU'LL EVER HAVE!!!
2 -12 packages of sweet hawaiian rolls (the small dinner roll looking ones)
1 1/2 lbs of virginia ham (NOT honey ham)
12 slices swiss cheese
1 stick of real butter
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon poppy seeds

Directions:
You will need two 9 x 13 pans. Place the bottoms of 12 rolls in each pan. Place ham (about 2 shaved slices or so) on the rolls. Cut the cheese slices into 4 parts and place 2 small pieces on each sandwich. Put the dinner roll tops on. In a sauce pan, mix butter, worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder and poppy seeds. Wait until all butter is melted and then brush the melted mixture over the ham sandwiches. Cover with foil and let sit in fridge for 1 hour or over night. (If you want to bake them right away, you can also.) Preheat oven to 375 and bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve. They are great hot and even at room temperature Enjoy!

The ham can be substituted with sliced turkey also.
