Layer dry ingredients in a one quart jar along with a gift tag with baking directions.

2-1/4 cups granulated sugar
1/4 cup powdered milk
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Use a clean 1 quart jar and press each layer down firmly.
Pour in sugar and the powdered milk.
Follow with the cocoa powder.
Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt, and layer them last.

Attach note:
Cappuccino Brownies
Empty mix into large bowl. Mix thoroughly. Add 3/4 cup of softened butter or margarine and 4 slightly beaten eggs. Mix until completely blended. Spread batter into a lightly greased or sprayed 9' x 13' pan. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until done. Cool in pan. Cut into 2' squares. Makes 2 dozen

I gave some of these type gifts last year, and received some.. They are nice..gifts, I have given some with cookie cutters, along with the mix ,and muffin tins~ this one really sounds good` SSC
