Who did Easter Eggs this year? I made some yesterday to have them today. I used "PAAS" Easter egg coloring kit. They turned out great.
This is how I make them:
First put your eggs in a pot and fill the pot with water to cover the eggs by 2 inches. Bring the pot to a medium simmer for about 5 minutes and then take them off the heat and let them stand. They continue to cook in the water. I just turn the stove burner off. Let them sit till they cool. About and hour I would say. Then set up your coloring bowls and put the eggs in them. Let them sit in the coloring bowls for about 20 minutes so the color will soak into the egg shells. Then take all the eggs out and put them in one big bowl and put it in the refrigerator. The next day or hours later you will have nice Easter Eggs. Mine turned out perfect, they pealed easy and cooked perfectly. Enjoy..
