My point? read the article, it stated even though they were formidable foes in the ring, they still had each others back ,when one or the other had illness or problems.I thought it admirable. I never cared for Muhammad ali. though, I do like Frazier,as I commented on that.

I only read articles I'm interested in, and boxing ain't it. Maybe I was harsh saying Muhammad ali can kiss my ass, but I think he is a pro-black activist and draft dodger, or maybe I should say "was" a pro-black activist, He doesn't do much of anything now because he can barely move and talk. I am not unsympathetic to his condition. I wish him well.

well,I can identify with that. Sometimes,I do read things that don't interest me,it kind of gives me more knowledge of different subjects,and broadens my concept on different areas.

when I was younger I liked boxing,because my Dad was a golden gloves when in the army air corp,he use to teach me boxing, I was pretty good.. I may have told this story before.
well he said, I bet you can't hit me,I kind of nervously laughed.. I said ok
! he dodged,shuffled and ducked,I saw an opening,I punched,hit him square on the nose,he laughed and pulled off his gloves,and said, you should have been a boy.

That hurt my feelings,because I was all female!! ,but it taught me a valued lesson!

In my junior high-school about 7 grade the teacher made us settle out differences outside the class and bring out boxing gloves. The whole class went outside to watch the fight. This happened almost twice a week. If you argued in class you had to put on the gloves and fight. That's how the teacher handled it. The class would walk outside in the grass and form a circle with the argumentative guys in the middle and the teacher provided the boxing gloves. I was a very strong guy and athletic in my youth. No one ever messed with me. But I was nice as can be. I have not fought much in my life, and I'm glad about that. Its never appealed to me. BUT on this one day this one guy and me were arguing in the class and the teacher called us out to put on the boxing gloves. I should mention I have wrestled and played sports with my brother that was way bigger and stronger than me. I was used to fighting or wrestling. The competition aspect of it. Me and my brother have never had a fistfight I want to make that clear. We wrestled in the yard like normal brothers do.

Ok, back to the story. Me and the other student put on the boxing gloves and the teacher told us to begin and the guy took a swing at me right at the beginning and I ducked it and returned with a left-hand swing right to the face. He feel backwards and was almost unconscious. He looked like a tree falling down. Its was insane. I never boxed before and I took him out with one swing. He never bothered me again.
