If you cannot delete something this will delete it for you.

But I have not got....it

I mean you might encounter the odd difficult file.

This can also help with the external drive that does not want to turn off properly because 'something' is using it. You can unlock the entire drive, then turn it off.

I usually have to do a restart to delete some things

It is a shell extension

Just be sure to grab the appropriate copy for windows 7 or less.

Don't ask me what I am talking about...I am only the snagger. UNLOCKER 41523

I know what you're talking about and I've encountered files that would not delete, that program sounds like it would do the trick. However, I would be very careful using a program like that unless you are absolutely sure what you are deleting. You could easily delete something windows needs to function properly. So if you don't have a copy of your windows edition and you're not sure what the files does and how important it is don't delete it. Its not going to give you anymore hard-drive space to make it worth your while. Leave it alone is my advice.

Your Quite right of course

But I am keeping the link in case my friend a computer geek needs it.

I have not downloaded it.

My Incredimail has a toolbar that I can hide but not delete. It keeps coming back. It is a browser.
But unlocking it and deleting could cause trouble.
It is part of the Application ...possible built in.

I can delete other toolbars.

I take heed of your advise.
My hard drives are gigga bytes...I would never fill them.

I have 229 GB hard drive. I have 214 GB free space. How big is your hard drive?

I seen a toolbar remover somewhere, it was a free program.

My C Drive is 232 GB

My Expansion Drive 931 GB

I started off on computer with a 20 GB drive
and slow Telephone downloads for emails.

7 or 8 years ago
Viruses were flying in and a system restore often got rid of them.
A lot of people were picking up viruses and blaming each other.
But a lot of viruses were picked up from the Net or excutible files.
I learnt that these files could be scanned before opening them.

I have learnt that RAPID files are suspect. So I use Pando or can't remember for downloading large files.

One day Brian turned on my computer and it blew up with a big bang.
Frightened him...I lost everything.
