Linux Red Hat is in my Programs....

I think it is an Operating System where you Type Commands in.

I looked it up on the Net, but cannot understand what is written.

I think I do not need this Program

Maybe I can Delete it.

Perhaps you can have a look Tyler for me..it is very complicated to understand.

If you don't have a Linux anything I would uninstall it, it has expired anyway in 2004. Is your computer older than 2004? In any case I think it would be alright to uninstall it. Although it appears to be harmless it probably wouldn't hurt anything to leave it be, to stay on the extra safe side. If you are using Linux I would leave it.

Well My Hard Drive does go back to 2004

It has been cloned to a larger hard drive.

Not sure about having anything Linux....will check

I am removing programs I do not use very often
like Google Earth and Picaso ect;

I think the less programs I have on computer
the quicker it will boot up.

My Tech is coming to-morrow
I have two mystery icons on Desk top

One is called DRIVER UPDATE not sure where that came from.

It is recent.

Do you know it Tyler?

That's a good idea to remove unneeded programs from your computer. Well the "DRIVER UPDATE" icon on your desktop sounds like a exe file that is supposed to be clicked so it can install the update. After it updates you can right-click the icon and delete it, it won't be needed anymore. How it got there I do not know. You can click it and see what kind of driver update it is, maybe you don't need to install it and you can go ahead and delete it.

I.... Tyler it's all a mystery to me

I find it interesting learning about it all.

Found out that Linux Red Hat is to do with Paint shop pro.
something to do with Tubes.
I often download Tubes to make creations.

You gave me an idea to put in a search for Linux to see what it is supporting.

Now far be it to say such things. But On my Tcch's last visit, he often goes on the Net
to see if there are any update DRIVERS.
Maybe he did, maybe he did not.

Updates for Drivers..now that is something I am not familiar with.

Yeah sometimes you need to update them, but most are automatic and you never see the icon on your desktop it just installs automatically.

They may have download a driver and installed it, but never deleted the exe icon. If its already been installed you can delete the icon.

The driver update has been deleted by my Tech.
Could have been SPAM. (Not sure) He deleted loads of things from my computer.

Linux Red Hat is an Open Sourse Computer Program...Developers OWN Operating system.
Very Complicated.
It had exspired 2004 ...But more have been brought out like Linus & Linus Mints. (Something like that)

I learnt a lot of things.

Torrent is mainly used for Pirate Software ...but not really worth the hassle because updates cannot be had.

Winzip will open Rar files......

Spybot might not have a LOG
Tea Timer is part of Spybot.

Get anything on SOFT 32 and it should be safe.

HKey is in Registry (lots of them) but deleting one can cause trouble.

But Dam Me The Pop-ups have not yet gone.

So He might not have deleted the Hkeys that maybe are causing the problem.

He had a good clean-up so I am not dissapointed.

Took Him 2 hours.

Well that's good he got rid of some things you didn't need and you learned some things, but too bad the popups are still happening. Did it not popup when he was there or could he just not fix it? I'm starting to think its something installed on your browser. Does the popups only happen on chrome? If you're not sure trying using firefox for awhile and see what happens. Forget IE if chrome has it so does IE.

Morning Tyler

Your right Chrome is connected to IE

My Tech was wanting to clean up my computer in the hope that the Pop-ups would go.

After two hours we both had enough.

So much was done.

The Hard Drive went back to 2004

In the early days I was downloading all sorts of things.

Tech did not see Pop-ups which are on your site as well.

YES! That is a good thought...maybe in my Browser.

I only use IE and Chrome....but I did reload Chrome ...but it is commected as you say.
(Supported might be a better word)

I will ask Tech to come back after his Hols. I enjoy his vists and learning.

Thankyou for your imput.

Ok, in closing let me clarify one thing, the popups are not "on" my site, a better terminology would be the popups are "triggered" on my site from the program on your computer. This site does not have popups on it, rather a program on your computer is triggering them on this site and delivering them to you, and only you. In other words this site is not delivering the ads to you, but rather the program on your computer is delivering them to you when you are on this server. The ads do not originate from this server, they originate from the program on your computer.

Just want to clear that up. Linux Red Hat 67629
