Tell me! What is this War all about.

Tell me why you posted the wrong screen size again when you are well aware of how to choose one now, then I'll tell you what that war was all about.

Look if you don't care about what size it is or that the video is getting cut-off you should know that I could care-less either, what your videos look like makes no difference to me, so if you want to post the biggest size you can that is perfectly alright by me, its just MY videos that I post do I care about. So if you don't care then I will never mention it again.

This is what happened....

I took the embed code while on your site ... (From your site) ... Although the last video was the right size .... This one did not come out the same.

SO! I cannot do that anymore because the share button is not on here.

SO! I have to go back to UTUBE to get the right size.

So what is that War all about?

I'll let you in on a little secret, you know when you paste the embed code in your post take a look at it next time before you send the post and notice the width and height properties of the code, they look something like this:

width="640" height="360"


just change those numbers to width="560" height="315"

So you can forgot about using youtube to resize your videos because thats all its doing when you choose a size is changing those width and height numbers. You can edit any video and change those numbers to resize the video anytime you want, but of course on the forum you have 15 minutes to edit before you timeout. But the point is the video can be resized by changing those 2 numbers.

Well I resized all the videos on page 1 in this various videos section, still have more to go on the other pages.

Just to make clear on this video sizing issue I want to point out not all videos are going to have this option:

"560" height="315"

Some videos will vary on the size options that it displays and sometimes that won't be one of the option sizes, but don't worry it doesn't matter, when you go to copy the embed code the only important factor is to choose one that is not WIDER than "560", there are always size options under that, the height is irrelevant and will not matter on the forum. Also remember you can manually edit the size of the video when you post it if an option youtube displays does not suit you, just choose a size and edit it in your post.

The target maximum width is "560" but it can be under that if you prefer, the height is of no consequence.
