I thought the rule was to not welcome someone till they post?? I think that is what was told me..

No that is not a rule. I once said a long time ago I usually like to wait until a new member posts in the Introductions section before I say anything to them, especially if I don't know them, but its certainly not a rule, its just something I usually do, and when you know them like SSC knows peachy then hell yes give them a shout whenever and wherever you like.

Even though I don't know her personally, but I have heard of her at IYT, I'll take this opportunity now and say welcome aboard peachy glad you made it.

No, you don't have to wait until they post, if I mentioned something to you about that once it was only becuase we have a lot of new members coming thru here and I didn't want you to think you had to welcome them aboard right away, but rather wait until they post in the introduction section, becuase that's what that section is really all about, they post first, and then we say hello to them, but it was never a rule just a suggestion.
