1Crab Roll Empty Crab Roll Tue Aug 04, 2009 2:16 am

1 package Philly Cream Cheese..8oz. softened
1 package imitation crab or 1/4 lb real crab meat (claw meat is the best for flavor )
2 green onions chopped very fine
1/2 cup crushed very fine pecans
onion powder
garlic powder
salt.. pepper

crumble crab meat
mix all ingredients except pecans
form into a roll about 6-8 inches long
chill for 20 min.
roll on wax paper in pecans covering the whole roll
wrap in saran wrap and chill for one hour till firm
slice and serve with Ritz crackers
I have used celery in place of gr. onions and it gives it a nice flavor

Going to Hammond last OF September,will get fresh crab.. sis has made this before..
