well i guess the ventures for me is just a bit nastalgic ,, but i like both,but the gary hoey version is better, simpler times had simpler music, hope its ok to post it here so sandy can compair, or anyone, take care , if this is not ok here delete or move it, thanks,

ok lets do some more comparisons, i like the safari's version of wipeout the best, i was raised on it and kids in school tryed to use their hands to play it on their desk, lol, it was all about drums, i will post the gary hoey version also, which seems to get away from the drums toward a guitar , but this song growing up was all about the drums, lots of classics but this was one of the best when i was in school,

I think it was right on the mark. Perfect. Sounded great. Better than the original. Very accurate and professional. Gary Hoey is a great guitarist.. That's just my opinion. But many musicians agree he is very good.

well really they are both good, the version i grew up with is more drum oriented as i said, i guess the kids trying to do it on their desk in school brought back good memory's, and good memory's are rare right now. but nothing wrong with listening to 2 versions, music now is more techie and i guess has more advance sound systems, and gary is good at what he does. take care
