I love the itunes player, I have my entire Avril Lavigne collection on it, however, I hate quick-time, its anything but quick, and the video playback is always small and dinky. For some reasons in order to have itunes you must also have quick-time, they are obviously in bed together business wise, but one has nothing to do with the other. Quick-time plays back online videos that it supports, itunes is a media player, and comparatively speaking much like windows media player. You must have quick-time for everything to work right with itunes for some unknown reason to me. I total disgrace in my opinion. Quick-time is the biggest piece of shit I have ever seen!! But I love intunes so I must have it.

I'm taking quick-time (the name is a joke) off of everything it wants to play. I will disable as far as I can without it affecting itunes. Why itunes ever got in business with quick-time with a piece of shit program like that is beyond me, unless is was money related, and of course it was. The scary part is itunes and quick-time are probably the same company.

And another thing, Firefox still runs like shit. I'm back to IE again.

Yeah I have IE 8 too. It seems to be working ok. I don't go to Facebook anymore. After all the problems they were having with hackers I disabled my facebook account months ago, as of now its no longer active.

On itunes and quick-time, they are in fact the same company (Apple) but why you must have quick-time to make itunes player work is crazy. I've googled it and read many discussions about it, and most people don't want quick-time, but they love itunes. If you uninstall quick-time itunes will not function correctly. Its something to do with itunes relies on the QuickTime framework.
