I have no excuse... I check about once a day or two.. I just got a 3d tv installed yesterday in my viewing room.. they claim it is hooked up??? I can't make heads or tails out of it.. Found 3D dvd's are expensive and about the only way to get one is buy it and they cost over 30 dollars a piece... called Netflix and they don't have them yet.. Kind of going the way of Blu Ray I remember when they first come out ''not many movies''.. anyway I will post if this thing is worth the trouble and cost.. so far all i see is '''LCD HD picture'' from the dvd player or cable.. I am one of the lucky ones and have UVerse.. anyway i will try to be more attentive in the future... i really have not seen any questions are anything to imply anyone wants to talk with me????

Ho: got me a tech in here and he set me and the tv and the 3d dvd straight... LG has done it.. you can see 3d in 2d.. I found 3D dvd's are hard to come by and expensive.. but LG actually has it now where you watch 2d with the glasses and it is some 70 to 80% as good as the real thing.. I am so excited.. I watched the new True Grit blu Ray dvd and it came in ''fantasticly'' . All I can say is ''it works'' it really does..

I found that computers are the ultimate DVD player. They will play blue ray DVD's if you have a drive that supports blue-ray. You can get computers with drives that support blue ray and 3d now. Just a regular DVD drive like a lot of people have don't support blue ray. But you can buy computers now with blue ray capable drives. The programs that are associated with the playback of the DVD can be upgraded and updated. You just need the proper drive.
Watching 3D movies can be accomplished by using the computer's graphics card abilities.. If that is the case, then you won't need any special glasses at all. Just a good graphics card.
Of course, you'll want to hook your computer up to your big screen TV, but that's another story and topic. But its the future and is done now everyday, and more and more people are relying on there computers for media and entertainment, which includes movies.. Its the future. I have my computer hooked up to my TV and watch High quality movies and music on my big screen TV using my computer.
Hi Jonsey, it sounds like you have a very nice system too. All kinds of ways to do things.

my daughter and son in law, who is good on hooking up things, they watch blue ray, on and im not sure which one it is, either PlayStation or X-boX... I dont think its the wii, but i think they have had all 3 but sold one, but one of those plays blu-ray, but i dont think now they buy the blue ray . they belong to netflex, and may stream netflex online or either mail the disc back, i forgot what they do,, i think i heard just in the last few days netflex is going to raise the price of online streaming, but i cant swear to that, i just heard it in passing. i was looking at tvs today at walmart, as i always do when i pass the electronics, and i bought some dvd blanks, the prices of tvs are going down slow, i was looking at a 55 inch LED.. the LED has a bit better picture than the LCD. and will probably take over, just like plasma is fading out, but u can get a real good deal on plasma, but i think plasma looses its plasma.and i think LED is pushing the price of LCD down some,,, i still like my tv, take care

one thing on electronics of anykind, never unless u got money to burn, buy the latest and greatest thing out, wait, because the price of electronics will fall and then fall fast, i remember the first VCRS the price was over a thousand bucks, now i have bought some dvd players for under 30 bucks, i have them everywhere, in all bedrooms at the lake ..the grandkids always take the kids type movies to the lake, the first vcr camera i bought was 1500 bucks now they are small and cheep, i bought my first RCA vcr tape camera in 1986,, and it was a lemon,
