i dont know if i have posted anything like this on the p-51 mustang,, but its one reason we beat Germany in world war II , the p51 mustang was nic named Cadillac of the sky, they had long range and could accompany the bombers to their bomb targets in Germany and were supper fast and a dog fighter, by the time germany had the jets near the end the shear number of mustangs in theater in europe was so huge we over powered the jets of germany, plus the mustangs were pretty fast also, one of the top planes ever built and help turn the tide of the war in europe.. not only one of the best but one of the most popular planes ever made. i may have posted on this plane i cant remember,, take care,

That's awesome rosco those planes were great. That's how we got started in aviation with propeller planes. We over powered Germany with more of those planes then they had jets so we beat them. Its funny looking at the propellers on those planes now, but that was all we had at that time. Those planes could not compete in today's world that's why we keep our tech climbing to using Jets now. An F-14 jet with computer target lock could take one of those planes down easily, a bunch of them with just 1 jet. But that's what we had back then. Thank God we had them and the pilots that flew them, and thank God for our new Jets keeping us on top. Here's a video of the F-14 Tomcat jet. Check it out and turn up your volume you'll want to hear what the pilots are saying as they fly. This is real footage. Watch all of it its very interesting and gets better at the end. Look at how the wings on the jets retract in for certain maneuvers. Of course they have been replaced with the Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet now. We are always upgrading. lol

good video.. even with the newest jets we have out, and all those before like the tomcat and others, even the A7 that we used off carriers for so long, that project our power around the world in hot spots, with aircraft carriers ,, i wonder whats on the drawing board now being born.. we always go forward, i will never live to see it, but china bothers me, as it is getting techie, and i think have or building aircraft carriers, and jets, but im not up on it, thanks take care,

I'm not sure of all the jets we have and there names or even what is the latest, but its always moving forward. And its cool to know we still have them all.

In my opinion China is no threat because it is not in there best interest to go to war with us and we are more powerful than they are. They are in business with the United States and are friendly with us now. They would be fools to go up against us. We would destroy them if they tried. But they won't its not in there best interest and they like us. It would not be a smart move for them. They know the United States power militarily. We are more powerful than they are and they know it, and they have business interests in this country. It will never happen. That's my opinion.

i did not mean any conflict with china, i just dont want to see them catch us technology wise, did u know there are more ppl with genius IQ's in china than there are ppl of anykind in the United States, thats mainly because they so many ppl in china, compaired to the US< kevin costner is doing a show on the events of 9-11 , i missed alot, but may go watch some of it, im tired, take care

Well we have many people here in the United States with genius IQ's too. Rest assured that there are people in the United States working for the CIA and FBI and military tech with genius IQ's that were born here in the US. China may have more because of the larger population but we have them too and they are working for us. Some of those China people with high IQ's work for us also. They moved here and got jobs. Smart move I think. lol
