I experimented last night precooked the whole head of cauliflower, covered it with onion powder, garlic powder, Tony's and Southwestern rub, then coated it with a thick layer of the new Cheese Ranch salad dressing, baked it at 400 for 30 min. It browned perfect and had a nice crust and was delicious.

I am going to try different coatings for different flavors but the boiling it first is a must, cut baking time way down, I have cooked cauliflower on the grill several ways and we do like it. You can also break the flowerets coat in olive oil season and spread on a baking sheet, a nice snack we use a horseradish dip or Ken's Sweet Vidalia Onion dressing.
