here is another version closer to maybe your favorite..

8 veal scallopini slices
flour, seasoned with paprika, salt and pepper
4 tablespoons butter
½ lb thinly sliced mushrooms
½ crushed clove of garlic
1 cup beef broth
½ cup tomato sauce
½ cup green pepper, chopped
4 oz noodles
Parmesan cheese

Directions
Preheat oven to 325ºF.
Pound veal scallopini until thin and dredge in seasoned flour.
Brown in butter, adding a little olive oil, if necessary.
Place in baking dish and add remaining ingredients, except green pepper, noodles and cheese.
Cover and bake 30 minutes; add green pepper and bake 15 minutes more, uncovered.

we prepared this a lot,.
I remember cooking it on top of stove also ,without the green peppers ,I mostly did the oven version as catering to a party..you could prepare larger quantities like that.
