“Unfortunately, America loves Guns. We love guns to a point where that uh we see devastation on a daily basis. You don’t blame a group.”

The Mayor is using a straw-man argument that conveniently provides him with an opportunity to politicize the terrorist attack as part and parcel with America’s love of guns.

Mayor Daley, and other politicians, like to blame gun violence on the guns themselves because that is so much easier than admitting any inconvenient (politically incorrect) truths which might be revealed if they were to place blame where it belongs.

Kids murdering each other in the inner city? That’s because of guns, not the War On Drugs which turns poor children into black market drug distributing gang members.

Islamists murdering people while shouting Allah Akbar? That’s because of guns, not the Jihad being perpetrated globally against all so called “infidels”.

They blame guns because guns don’t vote.

Taking Mayor Daley at face value for a moment, is he seriously arguing for increased gun control on a military base? If there had been more guns around, this ticking Jihad bomb could have been put down a lot faster than he was.

With no pogrom backlash after 9/11, no pogrom backlash after Bali, no pogrom backlash after Madrid, no pogrom backlash after London, no pogrom backlash after Mumbai, no backlash after countless other Jihad attacks, why would there be any reason to believe the reaction would be any different in this case? As we have written before, the West has already passed this particular civility test.

He is a hard-core, liberal, Illinois Democrat. Look at Jesse Jackson's anti-American propaganda. Jeremiah Wright and,yes,Barak Obama. These guys want to change America. They want "change we can believe in". They want to manage the military like they have managed Illinois politics: Corruptly and stupidly. This country is already starting to regret letting these maniacs in power. Frankly, I'm feeling a strong desire to say "I TOLD YOU SO!"

Now this is totally just my opinion,but I've read a lot about the Chicago poltical scene. Much before I ever read a blog. I don't read blogs anyway. If you think La. politiicians are dirty, they are SAINTS compared to the Chi-city crowd. It is a virtual empire for the Daley's and their co-horts. This is home base for Jesse Jackson and his son. His son was,and still may be,the attorney for the El-rukin criminal gang. Their specialties are gun trading and drugs.Every single union member there owes his/her job directly to the machine. A good,solid case has been made that Jesse Jackson engaged in and still employs outright extortion against ANY company that doesn't contribute to his "Rainbow Coalition". It is a tax exempt org that holds vast wealth. And we ALL know about the "pay to play" paradigm in place there as evidenced by Bogdonavitch's activities. Ya'll know I'm not a conspiracy nut. Many books and white papers have been written about this and the story ain't over by far. I don't post these opinions to convince anyone of anything. But I will NOT be surprised what rats will run from that ship if it starts taking on water. I am not implying "guilt by association", I am suggesting "association by guilt".

It wouldn't surprise me if Jesse Jackson was involved in the mafia, I mean, I don't think hes above seeking there help for issues he wants resolved.

As far as the mafia goes, I'm just a collector, I take my orders from Tony Soprano.

Also, if Tony needs someone clipped, I'm one of the guys he calls on to take care if it. I try to collect with persuasion that they "must pay or else!" attitude, that's the only way to get your point across you're serious about getting your money. Sometimes you have to knock a few heads. If they don't get the money, I have to take them out, literally.

I have a reputation of getting the job done, that's why Tony likes me and I'm still working.
