i am El Sicko
colds and fluey symtoms are awful.
i try to keep going and then conk out asleep for a couple of hours or more.
Daughter louisa came this afternoon and early evening...her and dad talked at speed...i just remained quite most of the time. dad did some god dam awful cooking with pasta, chillies, tomatos, potatatos and anything else he could get hold off thrown in a pot. he called it a soup. then made an apple crumble with loads of spice. heavy on the spice. then i told him how to cook hard boiled eggs. i cooked a large gammon bacon joint in a saucepan. with loads of sugar, bay leaf and brown malt vinigar. not sure what the vinigar does. i did soak the joint overnight in water to get rid of some of the salt. it was unsmoked.

Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly Candy, take care. It will pass soon. Might I suggest you ask Gypsy to make you a nice bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup, she can cook anything.. lol

......... well i can get a cold or sinusitis , but the dr gave me the flu shot about 6 weeks ago. but i wash my hands a ton, which helps, get well candy, my dr has me take lots of expectorant and an antibiotic if i get sinusitis. which is what i usually get and not a cold, again get well, take care
