Seafood Boat for 2...
You will need:
1 loaf unsliced bread
1 lb. peeled and deveined large shrimp
1 dozen raw oysters
2 large fillets of catfish
bake bread while you are battering the seafood
cut fish into nugget size pieces
when bread is golden brown remove from oven slice about 1 inch from top, hollow out and brush with butter, return to oven for 1 minute under broiler, remove and set on serving platter
deep fry the fish first, next the shrimp and last the oysters
begin arranging layers into the hollow bread, any extra put around the platter
lay bread top on the boat and garnish with lemon sails( twist a thin slice of lemon and run a toothpick thru it) add fresh parsley, serve with the traditional potato salad and coleslaw, banana pudding and sweet tea round off the meal.
