If anyone thinks Florida weather is good then think again. I have lived here all my life in the same town I was born in. Which is in central Florida. I can tell you this from personal experience it sucks. The summers are hot as hell. When I was younger I didn't give a shit but it affects me now. I'm tired and I am hurting right now. I hate weather in general. I wish I could do away with this crap and go to a place that is comfortable. This is ruining my enjoyment in life. I hate Florida Weather and all weather. I would prefer to be in a controlled environment.

The worst part is its only going to get worse as the months continue. More suffering and agony.

I wish I had a house in Canada, I'd be there right now.

God please get me out of this...I pray you will.

HORSEMAN this is right down old jonsey's alley.. It is hot hot here in Mobile.. Try keeping the a/c at a comfortable 70 or 72 degrees... Do your shopping and honeydos in the early morning hours.... I get so cool at time I have to step outside to warm up''... at night sleep with the a/c at about 68 just enough so you have to cover with a sheet... If you wish to live in perfect wx then Mexaco City or San Franscisco comes to mind... I have seen it all and like you have lived here all my life... Tried those places ''didn't know no body and that includes the mountains''... so the old addage is no place like home and the grass is greener on the other side of the fence comes to mind... Sorry Have lived from Northern Alaska and spent time most everywhere.. Pacific NW and all of southern Alaska is caught in the Japanesse current so it has ''wet air about 80% of the time''... You are very lucky living that close to Disneyworld... One of the few places i enjoy ''or use to till they turned it on its ear with new hotels bringing in more and more people with little in the way of new rides''.. Well that is yet another subject... The heat is not so bad if you learn how to stay out of it..... jonsey

I've been to Disneyworld about 3 times in my life and I was just a little boy. It was fun then but now days I don't think its something I want to do.

You can call me Tyler. If you want to call me runawayhorses that's fine too. But not Horseman please. Thank you.

its been like 92 to 95 degrees for over a month here, one day heat index was like 116, but its mostly always humid, i dont mind hot weather at all, i just hate working in it, my house is 72 degrees inside, i dont mind working outside cutting grass in the heat, its just going to work, and wearing the green welding sleeves and a denim apron, and having to stay there 10 or more hours, it stays hot well into the night, but my machine cause a pile of hot shaving so its like working with a oven door open, but i like it hot when at the lake, i keep the place at about 70, but u can get in the water also , i just dont want to go when it a rainy weekend, im going next weekend, and hope for dry weather, and one daughter is staying a week, for vacation, her family will stay when i leave sunday, next weekend.i keep the house so cool when watching tv or at the pc, i have a throw on the couch to get under, and the pc desk has a register under it so it gets my legs cold when at the pc, i keep it so cool i really dont use the ceiling fans as much as i should i should keep the house a tad warmer and run the ceiling fans faster,

Well that's where my problem is. I can't afford to keep my house at 70 degrees in the summer anymore. I have to keep it at about 88 and it struggles with that. I basically live in a barn.

oh well i understand that,, my air runs almost all the time, its central air,i keep my house cooler that 88 even when im gone to the lake for the weekend, i have kept it cooler this year than other years, if i turn it up to high, i hate coming home to a hot house and the air really has to work hard to cool it down, u may know, but the air registers, i have a car air cond thermometer, that u put in the vents to check the temp, when checking the freon, the registers in the house should blow 20 degree colder air than the temp in the house, like if i have the house 74 , actually 74 is fine, at 74 the air registers should have 54 degree air coming out , if it varies much from that, u probably need a shot of freon,, i certainly can understand what ur saying if its 88 thats hot, actually the temp im quoting is in the hall, where the air return and thermostat is, i actually think the rooms are a tad cooler than the hall, the rooms is where the cold air comes out, the hall is where it sucks it back to the evaporator, to re cool it, so it gets warmer in the hall and that is where the thermometer is on the thermostat.., but i was surprised, it has been this hot or over a month i just got my electric bill and it was 205 bucks, and i run lots of outside lights at nite, i have the curly florescent bulbs in the house, which are cheep to run but me working at nite, i keep lights on and 3 on timers to go on and off and i run a boom box on the hearth, so if someone coming up to the house u can hear it..but i have gas hot water and that bill i paid today and was like 50 bucks, i may when going to the lake turn it way down, and turn it down in general,

I lived most of my life in a nice air conditioned house. My Dad kept it at about 71 or 72. I lived my whole life in comfort up until now. Our air was always cool in the summer and in the winter it was nice and warm. I was brought up with those comforts. Its what I know and come from. But NOW, things are different, now I don't live in a million dollar neighborhood like I used to, and my parents are no longer alive. I am living what some might call a good life still, but others might think I am poor. It depends on your money situation. I was always rich with my family, the best of everything. I miss that life. No telling what will happen to me now. Sometimes I don't even care. Screw it all.

And to get a little political I blame a lot on Obama. He didn't fix the economy that is breaking the backs of middle class Americans. The Jobs are not here, things are not getting better as they should be. I have heard from friends that they think Obama doesn't know what hes doing. I'm starting to agree.

But I say, I don't know what hes doing either. I don't have a fix for our country. All I can say is its a world that is about "Every Man For Himself", thats all it is about. Accumulate as much money as you can and live off it. That's all you have. Money is everything. It fixes problems, even health issues. This is our life we live in, in this country.

Now, understand this, if I was married to Avril Lavigne I wouldn't have a worry in the world about ANYTHING!!. I would have the best of everything at any cost.. Air conditioning and Jets would become routine. Yes, she uses her own private Jet. But not only would I have it made financially, I would also be with in my opinion the most beautiful girl in the world.

Gas prices?? That would become a non-issue. Rich people don't care about what doesn't effect them. The price of Gas is meaningless. Its pocket change. They'd rather think about the Pier they are going to build with the boat ramp on there ocean front property. That's more interesting.

That's how it is folks.

Yeah, that's the life I want. :)

I flip flop? I still don't understand a word you are saying. First of all I am always open to learning new things, so if I change my opinion it doesn't mean I am "Flip Floping", it means I am growing and learning. I am true to my statements and go with logic and understanding. I do not engage in flip floping. I have no reason to. There is nothing to gain in doing so. I say what I'm thinking at the time.

I do not seal my opinions in a fashion as to not be able to change it. I am open minded, always.

Probably more news than you.

The difference is, I think about what both sides are saying. You have already made up your mind. If they are Republican thats all it takes for you to not listen to them. I don't do that. I listen to both sides. I'm alot like rosco in that sense, I am Independent.

Good question and I will try to answer it. My "Theory" is, Republicans and Democrats are the same. There is no real dividing line. I think people should think and look and judge things with facts and logic. I don't see a Republican or Democrat issue in the big scheme of things. I know its important for votes but I am against the system. It is crazy. I would like to see the US do away with Republicans and Democrats and just people vote on the issues. I have no love for either side, Republicans or Democrats. I judge the issues. I am Independent.

Tyler/you have to have a two party system.or we would be dictator//on this situation the Republicans are wrong!! we cannot give to the rich//there is no trickle down wealth

then what is the scheme of things? how would we do That

Not correct. This government could be better off if people just voted on the issues at hand. Forget the dem and rep thing, just vote on the issues. Whats communist about that? How can that possibly be a bad thing?

Your system sucks with the Dems and Reps wars. Insane. Not realistic to logic or good management.

Everyone just vote for the laws and it will be done. No red tape. The majority of votes on any issue rules and goes into effect. No Republicans and Democrats.

first im tuning out till the end game, lots of bullshit going on now, i agree with the republicans on somethings and on some things the dems, on the budget i probably lean heavily to the dem side, i think here the aarp, is having a large write in to robert adaholt a representative in alabama somewhere, i assume he is republican, but maybe not, im sure the aarp members are worried as i am about a cut in social security and medicare, i have worked to hard and put to much money into it over my whole life, to have it cut even a bit now, i work all i can to increase what i will get when i am 65 and retire ,its based on what money u make,
