CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Ten protesters occupied bond court on Wednesday after occupying a police van earlier in the morning.

All but one were arrested and charged with trespassing early on Wednesday morning as officers with the Charleston Police Department worked to break up an Occupy Charleston protest at Marion Square. They were told they would be released on a PR bond.

The other protester, Allison Anderson, was issued a $470 surety bond. Court officials said she had two outstanding bench warrants.

The arrested protesters have been told they are not allowed back in Marion Square until their next court date on November 29.

30-50 police officers, including Charleston Police Chief Greg Mullen, were part of the large police presence.

The group has been told not to occupy the square after 11 p.m. , which is the standard closing time.
