what was ur favorite childhood story/fairytale?

mine was several but the one I love the most was the Velveteen Rabbit,and then, The Ugly Duckling.

Nancy Drew Mystery series.

These were passed around and read by the children in our family for years and just this year, I donated them to the City/County Library children's section.

those were great stories,I read those also.. lots of great stories/books.. that was wonderful u donating them to library

well i was not much on reading, i mainly watched tv, waited for the saturday morning shows, FURY, a black horse, and mighty mouse, i do remember i was young we went down town to the movies , my mom nad sister went to one movietheater, as back then only one screen,, adn daddy took me to see the Vikings, with tony curtis, and kirt douglas, there are no movies down town now, but tons more now near the malls the multiple screen ones,in the surounding cities, ,,,

I was a Hard-Core "Hardy Boys" reader. If memory serves me correctly I read the entire series 3 times.

Moose I enjoyed those also,I was big on books/reading and still am..

Tarzan books

yes tarzan books/comics also were a biggie in the 50/60's ..we use to trade comics/and books with our friends, and kids in the neighborhood~

Another favorite time for stories, but these were told,not read.. real experiences, or made up.

around bonfires, or camping, Ghost Stories or real life stories, those were the fun times, roasting marshmellows..and cooking around a campfire sometimes the complete area of campers would gather..[for these story times.. some very good stories were told..and some silly ones also..good memories
