It worked perfectly for me. You need a high-speed connection to play videos best without any stops. Otherwise you have to pause the video and allow it to load up. The higher the quality the video the more time your computer and internet connection needs to load it. In videos its called "Buffering" to help your video play smoothly. These settings can be adjustable. Depending on your computer speed and connection you can adjust the buffering. But Live online videos that depend on a live feed that use flash work best on fast computers and internet connection speeds. But that buffering can be adjusted too.

I have pentium 4
do not have adobe flash player
maybe to do with memory card ...don't know.
must be my computer set up... takes a long time to buffer up.
Brian is networked to me and has no trouble.

Well you need Adobe Flash Player to play any YouTube videos online. So if you've seen a YouTube video online you have Adobe Flash Player. Its as simple as that. Maybe you need to update Adobe Flash Player if its suddenly not playing now.

Most online videos you see, and you upload to a server are converted to work with Adobe Flash Player.

Considering you can see your video and other YouTube videos confirms that you have Adobe Flash Player installed on your comouter. The problem is why you get "stops", is your computer has a slow processor or your internet connection is not fast enough.
