AMARETTO BROWNIES
Cook over medium heat stirring constantly 'til boiling:
1/2 C sugar
1/3 C. butter
2 T. water
6 oz. chocolate chips
Add and mix well:
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs (add one at a time)
Add gradually: (very gradually - could become clumpy)
3/4 C. flour
1/4 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
Add last
1/2 C. nuts
Bake for 25 min. at 350 degrees in a 9x9 greased pan.
Remove from oven and drizzle 4, 5, or 6 Tablespoons Amaretto over hot brownies. Cool and frost.
FROSTING
1 1/2 C. confectioner's sugar
3 T. butter
3 t. milk
1/4 t. vanilla
1 square semi sweet chocolate melted and drizzled over frosting
