Holy shit Moon is that you playing "You shook me all night long" by AC-DC?? Very good! Nice guitar too. I'd like to record myself playing my new Fender Telecaster sometime. I need a new camcorder or maybe even a new webcam.

Yep, dat me. I've been playing an acoustic for 10 years now,so I've got a lotta re-learning to do. Telecaster? DAMN! I had a Strat about 20 years ago; a real one. This Epi was only $169, no tax, no shipping, so I bought it. I was really pleasantly surprised at the quality. I'm gonna keep working on "You shook me..." but the lead is pretty complex. I'll do a vid of my acoustic later. Hey, all I used was a little digi-cam. You can get one for $60-$70. I had to add a 2gb slot card, but it was only $22 at Wal-Mart. Thanks fer the comp.

Yeah my Telecaster is a Avril Lavigne signature series guitar, its a "Squier Fender", Fenders cheaper model much like Epiphone is Gibsons cheaper version, both are used professionally. My guitar (Avrils Sig guitar) is a Telecaster with a Humbucker pickup added, so I can switch between the classic Telly sound or to the humbucker pickup that has the hard rock grunge sound, These Tellys are used alot now in underground and Puck rock music, players put Humbuckers in these classic guitars to give the modern rock sound you hear a lot today. Listen to Avril's tunes and you'll hear a power guitar, thats a Telly with another member playing a Gibson Les Paul. This guitar is a sig series that already has the humbucker on it. It also has her signature written on it, and her logo star on the fret board.
Sounds good, I'll check out those webcams and camcorders and see what will work best for me.
Here's the guitar:

Yes I did see that video and it was awesome, I love that classic telly sound.
I think you got a good deal too, that's a quality guitar you have anyway you want to price it.
I have a Fender amp I use that's a "Frontman 25R, its a perfect little amp for backstage, or can even be used onstage at a small venue, it gets surprising loud,

I got the smaller 15R. I wanted the smallest (cheapest) Fender that had reverb. I also knew that I had a big 12" heavy duty spkr cab. from a previous amp. It jacked right into the new 15R and sounds great. I had way too much distortion set up on this first vid,but I'll get more familiar with it. The price was $99.99 but the shippiong was $10, so...shipping was free for purchases OVER $99.99, so....I added a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty for $9.95 which made the total $109.94 and I got the shipping for free! Ever do biz with "Musician's Friend"?

Oh yeah I've done business with Musician's Friend for years now, they have a full inventory and delivers fast. I believe that's where I bought my amp but I could easily be mistaken, becuase I've bought so many different musical things at different places, but if I remember correctly I bought the amp at MF.

when i was a kid i took guitar lessons for about a year, or year and a half, i forget.my uncle gave me the money to buy a used fender duo tone, i think it was called but not sure, it had 2 pickups, and the name of it reflected that, but still not sure the duotone is correct but i think so, my teacher used the fender stradacaster i may have spelled that wrong, anyway i lost interest. i cant remember but i think my teacher found a buyer for my guitar.. i learned cords and also playing by reading music picking strings.. i forgot all the cords but G ad F ,lol, i think i still know those, not sure i was cut out for it, i never ever could tune it, my teacher had to tune it, something about the string above, hold the 5th fret and have it and the string lower the same tune, gee i was a kid, so not sure, anyways he had to tune it, often he went to the piano to tune it,but that was good marc, really good,
