You may enjoy the end of my braying, squalling, and whining about Obamacare. The basic tenets of the Senate bill that passed today are: 1. We must buy insurance or pay a fine of up to $1900 per family. (I don't know how this will affect me. I have Medicare , part A. If I am forced to buy part B, I won't like it,but sooner or later I will need it.) 2. Subsidies will be provided for famiies with an income of less than $88,000/year (Now yer talkin') 3. Prohibit denial of coverage for pre-existing conditions. (A big consideration for me. Hell, I AM a pre-existing condition) These are purely personal points of view but as I said before, THOSE should be my and your first consideration. I still think the bill,in total, will lead to a finacial disaster. I still think the Congress should drop the whole idea. I still think the American people will be outraged when they start getting taxed and fee'ed on this with no immediate coverage. And I think stealing (now) $400 billion in coverages for Medicare recipients is dishonorable and shortsighted.

Delete away, senor. Actually, if I post a buncha facts someone questions, I should expect someone who questions those facts to post an alternate set of "facts". But most here know that I ccp little. I offer my opinions mostly and assume you guys know that if I post something,I believe it. I shouldn't admit this, but I rarely wade through long ccp's. Rosco,I showed the part where medicare would not be cut, an the cost would be lessened,an the long term ,medicare would benefit,read it closer,it is a complete fact check on medicare.It showed five points questioned,an it passed

u posted on 5 different committee bills, the one today, is totally different, post on the one that passed today in the senate, they all are different, but the baucus bill in the senate is the main one, what u posted on probably will never see the light of day, . besides even the one today will be changed, its not even the bill as of now, the whole senate will wind up voting on,. as was said on tv actually this today is the real beginning, not the end, ,,

i think in fact the bill today 10/13 /09 may cut medicare or medicaid.,this is the newest bill . it has no public option so the libs are pissed but it leans toward the moderates..the unions are against it, because it taxes their highend policys, but i will need to read it, but on the tv news, several nursing home owners said the senate finance bill that passed today will put them out of business, cnn now has a show on about it, and said u will see nothing till the first of the year at the earliest, even olympia snowe voted for it just so it would continue so she can see how it changes and if it can get her final vote when there is a full senate bill, what u posted is old news, actually it all is old new, till the final bill is cast out of the house and senate conference committee . which will be a long time off,like first of the year,

Rosco,that is what I showed, the points on medicare,I don't see it being cut,by the info I showed. maybe those nursing homes don't/won;t meet requirements, we need to upgrade nursin homes any way maybe this should be put into a bill sticter requirements for care

This is not open for debate, don't directly reply to someones post you suspect has you on ignore. (i.e. not replying to your posts, not answering PMs..etc)... clear signals they have you on ignore.
