Soupy Sales Dead at 83, a funny man he was~

Soupy Sales.
Comedian Soupy Sales died on October 22, 2009, while in hospice care in the Bronx, New York. Sales had been battling cancer, and had entered Calvary Hospice the week before his death. He was 83 years old.

gosh talk about bringing back old memories, i use to laugh at Soupy Sales tv show . i forget how old i was a teenager maybe, sad to hear that news,

It is sad news, I bought my Dad a Soupy Sales joke book one year, I don't really know about him much, but at the time Soupy seemed to be from my Dads generation and style of comedian so I bought it. He liked the book, but wasn't overly enthusiastic about it.

He liked Bill Cosby a lot, I do too.

I love Bill Cosby.
the first time I remember seeing soupy,I was 19 an lived in California. he was at a book store signing autographs~ I was pregnant with our first child~ we/hubby an I had been married two years wow! a long time ago,we named her Monica,after the Santa Monica freeway Rest in Peace 67629
