monday they mentioned i may have to work days saturday, i hope not. i think the game is 3 pm here but i will check on the bama sight. i hope both teams play up to there best game. what im saying is i hope there is not alot of penalties, or fumbles, etc, and each team has a good game .take care,

Well, in the spirit of the game, and taking into consideration you are concerned you will lose, and me hoping the Gators will win, I think its only fitting we have another bet, to put some "stakes on the line" so to speak, and to make it even more interesting to both of us.

oh no thats fine, not a big deal, thanks for the offer, i was listening to as always sports talk radio, back and forth from work. they had a guy from las vegas who has a great record on advising ppl how to bet on games, he said bet bama . and the points, as we all know bama is better than last year, he said u can bet florida has been studying the auburn game film as they shut down ingram, and bama put in richardson since auburn loaded the middle where ingram runs, but richardson could turn the corners. he said florida has a bit more speed, but that they have not played a team as brutal as bama.. he thinks bama will be in the lead toward the end of the game and it will come down to what florida can do at the end.. but thats is alot of speculating,but bama just may take this one.. but thats why they play the game, so we shall see..take care..

I wouldn't bet against the Gators, no way, they will probably take this game.

i remember the miss state game, the announcer said if bama plays florida the way they played miss st, they will beat florida, lol,it was cbs of espn i forget, but we all know florida is favored by i forget 5 6 7 points i think, its 3 pm here, im going to my son in inlaws parents to watch the game, son in law is an auburn fan, so he is going to the hunting club to hunt,like i said ur either auburn or alabama here, the auburn ppl here at work thursday were doing the gator clap, they want florida to win, we have an old saying if auburn is playing Iran, bama folks pull for Iran, lol, bama may put a country boy ass whipping on Florida, lol, florida like i said is favored, but as u know there are good and bad days for every team, good luck . i think this is sabans 3rd year, his first was 7-5 i think the last 2 he was 12-0 , we had such a rough time with so many coaches, but saban has turned it around in a remarkable fast time, who is florida going to play in the sugar bowl?? lmao,, ok i will hush now, i know we are the underdog, my daughter man is she into it on bama, u cant even talk during the game, when i said i wanted to come to her inlaws to watch it with all of them, she said i cant talk, lol,, oh glad im off saturday, he did not mandatory me but kept asking if i wanted to work, i kept saying no,, lol ,,good luck and lets hope no player is hurt. we need the sec to make a good statement in the bowl games, as u know we sucked in last years bowl, that was the biggest shock of last years season, we want the whole sec to look good in the bowl games.. take care enjoy the game,,

LOL, pop some popcorn it will be a good show.

in this day we have so many games on tv, when i was a kid with bear bryant and bama seemed to win most things, games were not on tv as much, one of the all time great games i got to see on tv, bama played ole miss, archie manning was ole miss quarterback, it was such a game john vault was ole miss coach, bama won by one point, it showed manning on the sideline crying on the bench, my mom i remember saying how she felt for him. now games are on tv all the time, just a thought from the past,

Good game rosco, Alabama was obviously the better team this year. Congrats. I hate this, but I have eat it up. You win, Gators lose. I really can't believe it, Tim Tebow did not get the job done today. I'm shocked.

thanks, Bama has been down changing so many coaches , even ones that had 10 wins, would get fired because to stay at bama u have to beat auburn, Bama sells Bama to recruits by pushing Alabama tradition, like we have 12 national champion ships. florida has 3, this was Bama's 22nd sec championship and florida has 8.. i believe, so thats what bama pushes to recruits, i was raised on this,,, but with Nick Saban going 12 -0 last year, and now 13-0 and going to the national championship game again, if we win it will be number 13, but lets hope all sec teams in bowl game win. the SEC to me is the top conference in the nation, and i hope all sec team dominate the the bowl games, Bama had a better team this year than last, i went to a football family party with chili and cheese dip, and pies, and we had a great time. but always nervous Florida may come back. but this year. bama usually wears down the defensive line of who they play and runs the second half... i will have to watch it over to see things i missed. Saban said he changed the defense this year to stop tebow from running as tebow he did last year. that he learned from last years game, plus bama has a better defense this year. but it was a good game. now we will see who we play in Pasadena, but its always an honor to play in the sec championship win or loose, i now will post a article about Tim Tebow,

Tearful Tebow makes the congratulatory rounds

Say what you will about Florida quarterback Tim Tebow. But the guy is a pillar of class.

After the game, amid the delirium of Alabama's on-field celebration, Tebow patiently navigated the crowd. He shared a brief hug with Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart.

Then he arrived at where Alabama coach Nick Saban was giving a postgame interview to CBS. Surrounded by a mob of cameramen, Tebow stopped and waited about 30 seconds while Saban wrapped up his interview.

Alabama football SID Jeff Purinton then told Saban that Tebow was waiting for him. Saban immediately went to Tebow. Tebow and Saban then had a quick conversation.

"I can't remember everything," Tebow said of the conversation. "But he just said keep your head up. You're a great player. You've had a great career and just keep your head up and don't change who you are."

As Tebow and Saban parted, Tebow also hugged Alabama tight end Colin Peek (a fellow Jacksonville, Fla. native) and Peek spoke to Tebow for about 30 seconds. Then Tebow found Alabama athletic director Mal Moore, embraced him in a hug and the two spoke for a moment.

The guy is classy, like him or not. If everyone in college football were like that, it would be a better sport.

I'll be pulling for Alabama to win the National Championship.
