I'm watching the Monte Carlo clay court tourney. After winning Estoril last week, I'm curious how Federer can cope with Nadal or Djokovic

Federer won his first tournament of the year yesterday.
Maybe he's got his stroke back.
Gonna need it to beat Nadal or Djokojic.

Yes. Also curious about what the new, "improved" Djokovic can do on clay. His serve and return is not an advantage for him on clay, and he doesn't have deadly topspin like Nadal

Hi I play tennis in Chicago IL at Midtown Tennis Center. I'm Level 2, and my favorite tennis player in Nadal.

Welcome to the forum finnianm! I had a rather lengthy reply to your post here but when I tried to submit it I got a white screen and lost everything, its late and I'm not about to rewrite it, so for now I'll just say welcome aboard and I'll try again another time when this server decides to act right. :)

Ok, I'll try this again. I apologize for this bad server but its out of my hands. When its like this it is completely unusable, in fact, worst than my old forum but thats another story.
I played tennis in high school and a few years after I graduated, but after that I haven't played much anymore. I mostly watch it on television now these days. My favorite players were Andra Agassi and Pete Sampras. On the womens side I was all Steffi Graf. And actually, I enjoy the WTA much more than the mens side, mostly becuase of the longer rallys the womens side seem to have, and of course for me, the beautiful view of the ladies! When Steffi retired and Anna kournikova was making the scene, that really captured my interest! But now even shes retired from tennis, but Maria Sharapova is still playing and shes nice to look at too. And her, unlike Anna, is having a very successful career on court. But lets face it, Anna has had mild success on the court, and has made a bundle of money off the court too, perhaps more than Maria has, or ever will.

What an ass kicking Nadal gave Federer today.
Congrats to the French Open champ.
