Carrie Underwood was the big winner at the 2010 CMT Music Awards in steamy Nashville, Tenn. Wednesday night. The country superstar took home CMT Performance of the Year for her live rendition of 'Temporary Home' from the CMT special, 'Invitation Only: Carrie Underwood.' She also stakes claim to the night's biggest prize -- Video of the Year, for 'Cowboy Casanova.'

"This is very special to me," Carrie said upon accepting her first award, thanking the fans. "You guys are what makes all of us. We couldn't do what we do without you guys."

Miranda Lambert also thanked fans in her acceptance speech for Female Video of the Year for 'White Liar,' in an upset win over Taylor Swift ('You Belong With Me'), Carrie Underwood ('Cowboy Casanova') and Reba McEntire ('Consider Me Gone').

Male Video of the Year honors went to Keith Urban for 'Til Summer Comes Around.' Lady Antebellum were the Group Video winners with their smash hit, 'Need You Now.' And the soon-to-split Brooks and Dunn take home their last CMT Award as a duo, for 'Indian Summer.'

I watched the show, it was good. Taylor Swift is really doing well. I'm not a fan of hers, and I don't care much for her style of music unless she decides to sing with the rock band Def Leopard which she has done before. That was alright, but her country sound I don't particularly care for. But yes she is pretty.

Carrie Underwood I don't care for either.

Don't mean to be so negative.. lol

On a positive note, I did like Brad Paisley on the show. Hes great.

glad u got to watch the show, i did not know it was on, and at work,, but actually i am not into those award shows alot. but i will watch them from time to time, i dont keep up with country music much now, as i use to, i think carrie underwood, is good , and stays as level headed and a christian person as she seems. show biz changes some ppl but some have stayed true to their believes, but im just rambling, like i guess i have said i like classic rock, im not into new rock, but again i mainly do talk radio, but i listen to cd in the car or truck some. guess i just like music that brings back nice memories of better times..

Oh yeah don't get me wrong I like Carrie Underwood as a person and wish her only the best. I like her personality and class. Shes a good girl. I like her. Its just her music and voice isn't my favorite. People like her, she'll be successful probably for a long time.
