I started getting loaded in '75 when I divorced. I stopped around 1985. I never was a KISS fan, though.

I was a huge KISS fan. I've only been to one concert though when they came to our home town. I still have may of their records (vinyl) that are in mint condition. I have them in plastic album covers. I have a lot of albums I bought from when I was young. I've kept them all. I have probably over 300 albums. That's a guess I have never counted them.

KISS has a huge fan base, they are like the band "RUSH" in that respect. They don't need N.1 hits to be successful.

Wow the song lists are a walk down memory lane at least. I did like KISS for awhile but in 76 I had been divorced and a widow already so ended up working in a Honkeytonk in Kansas City, before I moved to New Orleans and on to biker bars, not much KISS played there but a shit load of ZZ TOP.

Before going into debris work I worked in bars for years in several states, bikers to rednecks but those were times in my life memories were made from. I even worked in a bar on the river levy where Ike & Tina got started, you had to drive through a corn field down a dirt road to get to that one..kinda a bucket-of blood place but I loved it.

My brother was a bartender in NO. Great place. Many NO stories. Mom was in the "biz" from 1964 to about 1978.SSC wrote:Before going into debris work I worked in bars for years in several states, bikers to rednecks but those were times in my life memories were made from. I worked all over New Orleans, my husband was born and raised there. He worked for Nick Karno who was a huge tie with the NO mafia back in the day. He owned several bars on Bourbon and throughout the city. Chris Owen became a close friend of ours she was one of the best known strippers on Bourbon, her club is still going strong.

The last time I was there to get out and visit was just before Katrina. I haven't been back since but that WILL happen sooner or later.SSC wrote:I worked all over New Orleans, my husband was born and raised there. I bet they are worth more money now. Mint condition albums are undoubtedly going to go up in value considering they don't make Vinyl Records anymore.gypsy wrote:Tyler, my son was a musician and singer, he was a big Kiss fan.
