I don't add any herbs just salt, pepper, and cayennej
just like i do my fried green tomatoes

two large Zucchini,squash or tomatoes
Batter
1 egg
cup of buttermilk beat and set aside

2cups flour
1teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
cayenne to taste
put this mixture into a zip lock bag, shake up good
slice veggies medium thick
dip in batter
then place on flour mixture
fry in hot oil
remove when golden on both sides
drain on paper towel..
