Please how do I get my Tool Bar up top

and Task Bar at bottom to stay.

Unless I hover with mouse it dissapears.

I don't have any tool bars but I can tell you how to make your Task Bar keep from disappearing:

Right click on your task bar and select "Properties" uncheck "Auto-hide the Taskbar" then click "OK". That's for windows XP.

ok all boxes are ticked except auto hide on task bar.

I also hid inactive icons.

As for top toolbar I guess experts hide it because they know where to access it.

Did it make your task bar stay and not disappear?

When you mentioned tool bars I thought you were talking about browser tool bars. I don't have any of those.

Try "Tools" at upper right, "toolbars", and look at menu dropdown for "Yahoo toolbar".

Do yourself a favor and click "Start" then "Control Panel" then "Add or Remove Programs", and uninstall any tool bars you have.. lmao

Those are for amateurs, but you all don't know that yet. In a few years you'll see I was right. These things take time to understand and realize you don't need it.

Why not? I only have my Yahoo toolbar enabled and it only shows 3 apps. The only one I might need is the "mail" icon. But I don't need that because I have a link in my favs bar.

I understand, but you will find in time you don't need it. They are a dime a dozen, and usually full of plugins that make your computer vulnerable to spyware. The bottom line is that I'm trying to say is you will discover in time that you don't need it. I had one once about 7 years ago and it did nothing for me. I discussed them on Computer forums, and the experts kinda laughed I had one. Its almost an embarrassment to have one. I'm just telling you like it is. There are better ways to do things once you know how. You'll see in time as you get better on the computer. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade about tool bars really, but you will see in time I was right. Its a learning process. You are going thru the stages. I'm just telling you where you will end up, and that is uninstalling any tool bars you have. You have been on a computer long enough to know that it a non-ending process of learning, I'm just predicting what you will eventually learn for yourself. I've been down that road you are traveling right now, and I was stubborn as hell. I use to argue that Internet Explorer was the best browser!! lol

Were you addressing this to me or Candy? I already knew everything in this post and just said so previously.

I was addressing it to you because you support tool bars and think they are great. That's the impression I got anyway.

Yes even that. The fact remains you still have one. But that's OK. Use it, and enjoy it. I'm not going to trash tool bars anymore. I made my point.

As I said, I have the one that came with my Yahoo home page and DO NOT USE IT. You have totally misinterpreted my post but let's let it go. If you insist I am in need of education on these basic matters I've already addressed, that's OK wth me.

I disabled Yahoo Tool Bar and others I deleted.

Incredimail tries to force one on me every time I update even though I tick the box saying I do not want it.

I ran spybot and deleted the spyware that just counted left clicks ect;

All tool bars do different things.

I just have Google Browser.

Sounds like you have a program running on your computer to make you have to do that. It should not be necessary under normal circumstances. Take a look st whats running on your computer and uninstall what you don't need. That sounds like a tactic used by some malicious program. I'd find whats doing it and remove it.

Yes I have downloaded this but not used it as yet because I was allready using SPYBOT
I ran spybot to-night after updating it and it found one Cookie which was in the Internet Explorer Tool Bar.

It was collecting Right Clicks.

A lot of incredimail ladies use ccleaner so I know it to be good.

I wonder it it is worth running both on alternate occasions.?
