Can anyone tell me what a READ ONLY FILE IS Please. ?
I know I can delete it or move it.

If I delete will the file be deleted elsewhere?

I am talking about Music and Letters ect;

My hard drive goes back to 2005
But was cloned last year to a larger one.

I have XP Pro
