I know I can bypass IE ...but it happens to be part of my computer set-up.

I assume Malware are adverts.

I just read that, Malware includes computer viruses, ransomware, worms, trojan horses, rootkits, keyloggers, dialers, spyware, adware, malicious BHOs and other malicious programs.

Everyone has IE that has windows operating system. They are just suggesting you not use it until they have the patches ready to be installed. If you have your updates set to automatic you will receive these updates as soon as they are released, which could be several days. If you don't have your updates set to download automatically you will have to open internet explorer without the patches and go to windows update site and download and install them. Setting your computer to receive updates automatically is the safest way to get them because you don't have to open internet explorer.

Just avoid using internet explorer until you have the updates. There should be no reason you have to use IE, unless of course you don't know how to do something any other way.

Of course IE supports Chrome....

You can open your homepage with chrome or firefox, actually any browser. You just have to set your browsers homepage, which in your case is Chrome. After that chrome will open it.

Its not a matter of IE supporting Chrome, IE does not affiliate itself with any browser, its a stand alone browser. It doesn't matter if IE supports any browser type it doesn't control anything and has nothing to do with other browsers functionality.

The only thing you need IE for is if you want to download windows updates manually, you have to use IE for that.

On the bottom of your screen on the left-hand side click Start, then "All Programs".

and find Google Chrome in the list of programs, click that, it should then open google chrome. Then you will need to go to you homepage, if you don't know the URL of your homepage copy it first before you do any of this, and once you have Chrome open paste the URL into your browser bar and press "enter" on your keyboard, that will take you to your homepage. If you need to login then do so, and once you are on the page you call your homepage and the page you want Chrome to open every time you start it, you will need to go into your settings, probably under "tools" and investigate how to tell it to make the page you are on your new homepage. Every browser has a different way of setting it, so I can't tell you exactly where on the chrome browser that is, but I have done it before and I think its in tools under "options". I don't have chrome right now I uninstalled it months ago.

Try that and get back to me, I'll help you anyway I can.

Also, if you want the chrome icon on your desktop so all you have to do is click that to start your browser, first right-click the chrome again in "All Programs" and select "Send to" and select "create desktop shortcut".

Incredimail has a MY Start Browser and Home Page. They are situated in Israel.

It is a blasted nuisance and is invasive.
Google is not happy about it and may try to sue incredimail over it....
Not sure... Or sue for misleading people...it has withdrawn its support for incredimail for 6 months. I cannot say that this info is the exact truth, but something is going on.

Hey The spell checker I allowed works for me.

I have to change my Home Page back to Virgin.

Do not want Googles Home Page.

I am going to inquire with my Incredi friends if I can get rid of this My Start home page and toolbar
with out upsetting my Incredimail Application.

Well without knowing much about Incredimail I can't help you much there.

Here is a page that will help you set up the page that chrome will open when you click the icon on your desktop, its called your "start page".

I'll try to explain this how to get the url to your homepage that you want chrome to open when you click the icon:

First make your way to the Incredimail page you want chrome to land on when you first start it, then once you are there copy the URL of the page at the top in your browser, then follow the instructions as explained at the link I posted below. The trick is, is to copy and paste the link you want chrome to open when you first start it in the right place in the chrome settings.

I had Incredimail at one time and had nothing but trouble with it, it seems to come with alot of extra unwanted baggage. Took me forever to uninstall it.

Oh its an installed program, I forgot that, well that changes everything. The best thing to do is uninstall that piece of garbage, those email programs that you have to install on your computer are a security risk and hazarded, what you want is a "online" email account so no email gets downloaded to your computer. Incredimail is a lot like Outlook Express but I'm not sure the emails get downloaded to your computer with Incredimail, even if it doesn't you don't need to install anything these days, and no one uses email programs anymore that knows anything about computers. No offense Candy just letting you know to steer clear of email programs, you don't need to install anything these days, you should use an online email account. They have messengers and all that other stuff if you want, which I never use. I like AOL mail been using it for 10 years.

SSC I have always used Incredi for 7 years. It use to belong to an English couple when it first came out.
It takes time to learn. I am a creator with my own site so I need incredi.
I use their Letter Creator also Paint Shop Pro.
It gives the option to use Facebook button but I have that turned off.

Anyone UNinstalling Incredi is advised to down load a little prog. to remove the fragments left in the Register.

Yes Emails do come straight into incredi, but they are screened.

I have a separate Account for Hotmail but only use it in emergency if incredi breaks down. (Which would be my fault)

I have Messenger but don't use it now.

When I installed Incredimail it also came with emotioncons and a ton of popups, then my security started warnings, I dumped the whole mess and have had no more of those issues.

Be aware that IncrediMail is considered "malware" by many knowledgeable people. Incredimail has quite a bad reputation if you do a search for it. Its a program that hoses over itself and the operating system. lets you put lots of worthless glitz in your e-mails that your recipients don't want to waste the time and disk space to download. There are tons of site with tuturials on how to uninatall that program, it seems it leaves behind a bunch of registery entries.

It does not slow down the computer.

Emails can take a minute longer to download because they are larger emails.

Incredi emails can be complex.

My Members have stayed with me for years and not all have incredi.
