Thank you
Gardening is my number one hobby.
I use to sell plants from the garden.
I like this tune.
This morning the videos buffered up ok for me.
So I know nuffink about why it did not happen the many times I tried.

well i guess it could be many things. but sometimes ur internet connection, and i dont know what ur on, im on cable, sometimes they have problems but hardly ever, and the connection or the cable company is running slow, like working on the lines somewhere down the line coming to ur house, i pay for 5 GB, i think u can pay for 10 i think or it maybe more now, but 5 works for me just fine its kinda the normal speed for the normal internet plan here, if i dont need more and i dont i would be throwing money away. with what i do online, i dont know the duration of ur problem, but if my pc is slow, its usually because in the background my antivirus is updating automatic, then it tells me and i know that was why it was a bit slower, but that hardly ever happens as it usually updates when i boot up my pc. i usually boot up my pc when i have some small thing to do, so the pc does its thing, so when i go to it. its all done. i know u said ur pc is like 7 years old, u could have had something running in the background using some processing power. but probably not, probably just a temporary slow connection, and hope that is gone now.. there are many sights that u can run speed test, i have some in favorites or bookmarks , i have not ran speed test in like a year, not even sure the urls still works, but i think i have 2 or 3 places, when the cable guy put in my cable many years ago, the first place he went was a speed test sight, but some speed test u pic a city in the United Stated to run it from, but forget how the others work. u may need an European speed sight,

A tip to watching videos without any stops is, start the video playback and then click the "Pause" button on the video. The video will continue to load up when paused. Wait about one minute or two for it to load, then click the start (arrow) button again. You can see a red line moving across indicating the loading process. When the red line goes all the way across it is completely loaded. But you don't have to let it completely load up, you just need to get more of it loaded as buffering so there are no stops or interruptions. Remember the higher the quality of video it is the more time it takes for it to load. High quality videos take longer. Also, you can click a button on the right-hand side of the video to change the resolution. For example, if you see a video that is HD 720p you can change it to a lower resolution like 360p and it will load faster. But only videos that have been uploaded in HD 720p or higher can change the resolution up to that number. In other words, if the video is lower quality you can't make it higher quality resolution, you can't make it something it isn't. You can go down in quality. If the video is high quality you can go all the way up to its maximum quality capabilities. Hope that makes sense. lol

He seemed pleased.
I have the setting on 360p
but it still stops and starts.
I will investigate speed test..
Memory card is 1gigga of Ram
Pentium 4 ....3,00gh2
Version 2002 xp professional
Maybe it is my server .....
also will find out if I can... if my Flash Player is updated, but I thought that I get any automatic updates.

You're welcome I was glad to do it. Brian is a good guitar player, I like his style. I'm glad you told him his video is video of the week. I was hoping you would. :)
Well, on Adobe Flash Player yes it does self update now, but you have to have the latest version for it to start doing that. In other words if you are running a older version it might not update automatically. Get the latest version and it will. It will tell you there is a new update and you just click install update. Simple as that. But if you are running a older version it might not do that now for you. You need to get on-board with the new program.
But quite frankly I don't think its a flash problem, I think it a internet connection speed issue. or it very well could be your internet provider is having issues. It loads fine for me no stops. Maybe someone else can say how it works for them and shead some light on your problem.
Read this topic it might help. Click the link that will check your flash version and see if you need to update:

it runs fine for me, i dont come close to a buffer problem, her problem should not be memory, we have more but when i got mine i had 512 MB. dell told me 1 GB is plenty for xp, i got 2 only because he could sell it to me without shiping, but he said i actually did not need 2 GB,of memory for xp, but it was the best buy. as i have said i have my cables basic plan which speed is 5 GB, i could pay for more but dont need it, i wonder what speed her cable provider has on her. but atleast in the usa, i would think a cable company would not sell a speed that will not run a utube, but i would like to know what speed plan her cable company has on her.she can call and find that out if she does not know,,, and does it have the problem all the time or just every once in awhile. tyler did u not mention that once she could pause it and it would buffer up while paused???? but still she should not have to do that. but if u said that. it is an option , if i understood that to be what u said. other than that i dont know,,, like u said if it intermittent it could be problems her provider has. just dont know more than that. has she gone and ran a speed test at a speed test web sight, they usually run a bit slower but not much from what they claim, and it also depends on traffic in her area, but the cable suspose to counter that problem and boost speed if lots of ppl are online in her area, i was told long time ago, good luck,

I have 3.24 GB of Ram. I filled up my computer all the way with 4 sticks of 1 GB of RAM sticks. As you know it will never read 4 GB of RAM in your system properties or system information, its always less than the actual amount of sticks you have. 3.24 GB is what I should have with 4 sticks of 1 GB RAM. But I know I don't need that much to run XP, but I decided oh what the hell, its not that expensive I'll just fill it up.. lolrosco 357 wrote:it runs fine for me, i dont come close to a buffer problem, her problem should not be memory, we have more but when i got mine i had 512 MB. dell told me 1 GB is plenty for xp, i got 2 only because he could sell it to me without shiping, but he said i actually did not need 2 GB,of memory for xp, but it was the best buy. as i have said i have my cables basic plan which speed is 5 GB, i could pay for more but dont need it, i wonder what speed her cable provider has on her. but atleast in the usa, i would think a cable company would not sell a speed that will not run a utube, but i would like to know what speed plan her cable company has on her.she can call and find that out if she does not know,,, and does it have the problem all the time or just every once in awhile. tyler did u not mention that once she could pause it and it would buffer up while paused???? but still she should not have to do that. but if u said that. it is an option , if i understood that to be what u said. other than that i dont know,,, like u said if it intermittent it could be problems her provider has. just dont know more than that. has she gone and ran a speed test at a speed test web sight, they usually run a bit slower but not much from what they claim, and it also depends on traffic in her area, but the cable suspose to counter that problem and boost speed if lots of ppl are online in her area, i was told long time ago, good luck,
Yes I mentioned pausing the video to let it load if it keeps stopping, in this topic I think.
