Kentucky hosted No. 1 Florida last week and lost 41-7.

Kentucky hosts No. 3 Alabama on Saturday.

Let the inevitable comparisons flow.

Attention is reaching a new level again this season for unbeaten Alabama, who some are calling the nation's best team at the moment. Fair or not, the Crimson Tide's preformance in Lexington this weekend will ultimately be weighed against the top-ranked, defending national champion Gators as much as the Wildcats.

As was relayed in today's Press-Register story, Alabama's players wanted no part of that discussion just yet.

But Kentucky's coach didn't mind when asked if Alabama is better than Florida.

"They're not any worse," Rich Brooks said, adding later, "They're one of the best offensive teams in the league. Their defense is the best in the league. Their special teams are outstanding. They have no weakness. So yeah, they could be the No. 1 team in the nation. And after it's all said and done, they might be."
