I don't eat a lotta frozen type stuff since it's usually awful, so if anything out there is good, I may miss it. I discovered that Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls are excellent (eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, cheese), but the Walmart "Great Values" store brand is better. They're better because they are identical but the GV brand is $0.30 cheaper. One of these and a piece of fruit makes a full and healthy breakfast. Chloresterol and grease are good for you.

How dare you insult frozen dinners. They are wonderful professionally prepared meals.meemoon wrote: I don't eat a lotta frozen type stuff since it's usually awful, so if anything out there is good, I may miss it. Yes I have had the Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls before, they are really good. Never tried any food from Walmart before though. Next time I find myself there I will check out the food section.
I agree. I don't give a shit about Cholesterol. I have had my blood checked extensively and I had no issues. That means I can eat what I want. But I understand some people have to watch there Cholesterol, I'm just not one of them.meemoon wrote:"Cholesterol and grease are good for you".

I do NOT like shopping for food at Walmart but the lower prices are significant and noticeable.
There is this huge prepared foods factory in Maryland that cooks for everybody. Little Debbie, Jiffy P'Nut Butter, Wonder Bread, etc. The breakfast bowls are identical in every respect. The bowls are the same size and color and the foods therein are identical and at $1.88 ea., a good deal for a meal.
Probably my only concession to "healthful eating" is fruit. Vitamin C. I can't prove that eating some fruit daily is effective, but I haven't had a cold for years.

Tortilla, flour or corn, fried crisp, scrambled eggs piled on tortilla .I put a little Louisiana hot sauce in my eggs when scrambling, next layer cheddar cheese, next layer tomato, onion avocado chopped together, lime juice squeezed over top, to keep from darkening. a good breakfast, not to fattening:)some salsa on top is good, I like chopped type salsa.I keep the tortilla flat.

I have been experimenting with a waffle iron and various foods, I put some tater tots in enough to cover the bottom sections, perfect hash browns, also I have perfected a thick waffle like Ihops, I add various fruits or cook about half way add a syrup or jelley and a thin layer of batter and finish cooking . They are so light and fluffy and the middle flavor is so good and very easy to do

Scrambled Egg Waffles
2 eggs, scrambled
•Cooking spray
•Salt and pepper
1.Heat up your waffle iron.
2.While that is heating up, scramble the eggs and put salt and pepper
3.When the waffle iron is ready, spray liberally with cooking spray.
4.Pour eggs in the waffle iron, close the lid and wait. Check on them after about a minute. Continue to check on them until they are as done as you want them. Be careful though, eggs in a waffle iron create a lot of hot steam.
5.I used a pair of cooking tongs and a spatula to slide the eggs out of the waffle iron

Hermit I have the same issue with my two dogs, if they hear me in the kitchen they stand by the stove, and the sitting up begging and waving their paws is hard to resist Mine eat anything I do from salad, pickles and veggies and meat, at least they aren't picky.

Little Pepper hears a rattle of sack or utensils he is sitting on his rug like a good puppy and waiting till I invite him in for tidbit, he is so well behaved, I love that little doggie with all my heart. I would hate to eat the same old food everyday,I am sure they get tired of Dog Food. This is lots more fun than Politics
