I'll be honest here, I really don't care about politics as I stated from day 1. I simply am not interested. I have only been commenting on it because I wanted to contribute to the conversation, but if the truth be known I don't care am not interested in politics. So this is where I jump ships back to my world of music and entertainment where I belong. I won't comment on politics for quite awhile.

well maybe just forget it,to some it is not important,,maybe I am to interested in our country,healing! forgive me ~those in their on comfort? don't care about the rest of the America!! After reading my post again I want to make one thing clear that perhaps I didn't make in my earlier post in this topic. A distinction if you will. I care a great deal about our Military strength and our dominance in the world. That I care about a great deal. Its the nit picking of politics I dislike. Our military is very interesting to me and I am proud of this country and all the people of the United States that fought in wars and did there duty. I am very proud of them.

OK, I needed to make that distinction.

i watch some debates when i can, but as u know i work nites, so i miss alot of things, plus i dont have much time with my chores around the house, the house requires lots of maintenance, and yard work, but i have been into watching those things alot in the past, i just dont have much time, like now i have been up about an hour and a half, and i need to go out on the highway and make several stops to make for things i have to do, thats my friday. but really just a republican debate, right now proves nothing to me, its a bit early,, i did on aol watch the presidents speech on jobs, but it would not embedd,, it had a link but had some problem,, they were working on it,, take care...

I watch some but I usually don't know what they are talking about..lol I basically listen to military status news. If I worked for the government it would be in some military fashion. I don't care about Reps vs Dems wars. Only the wars we fight militarily against our enemy's. We are all united at that stage. We all are Americans that stick together. So the Dem and Rep thing does not interest me. I know its important but not what I follow. I follow that some but I'm mostly interested in the tech we have in the military. Jets in particular.

well when over 3000 ppl were murdered on 9-11 by bin laden and his band of merry men, who was in Afghanistan that country contolled by the taliban and would let the terrorist run unimpeded , that was more deaths than pearl harbor, we needed to invade the terrorist play ground, i think any president in power at 9-11 attack, would have gone into Afghanistan. or that president would be toast, we will never stop terrorism but we can slow it down to a trickle, as it seems, its not like we are forcing these soldiers to be in Afghanistan,IT'S A DAMN VOLUNTEER ARMY . they dont have to join or retire, but many want to go back i have family there. and many and most women i know support the troops in Afghanistan,its not a sex thing, it as thing of understanding why we are there, many women understand. the troops are being drawn down. more ppl killed in the twin towers, than pearl harbor, and dont say it has not helped being there we stopped most everything in Afghanistan, so some fled over the mountainous border into pakistan, well we im sure are dealing with that government in Pakistan.. and we got bin laden with out Pakistan knowing we were coming, Pakistan cannot be trusted, i will give obama credit for keeping the terrorsist in cuba at Guantanamo , i think obama has done a good job in the military end, but as for the election its the economy stupid,as clinton said.. the economy controls the coming election, it very simple, if the economy is still bad, and unemployment is still up, obama is toast, very simple, maybe there is nothing obama can do to help the economy, but thats where the buck stops, and he will win or lose according to the economy when the election roles around, afganistan is not a declared war, its obamas war, he has had control what like 3 years now.

It seems all you care about Gypsy is hanging George Bush by the neck and anyone Republican. That's borderline insanity if not total insanity. First of all George Bush did a great job, and he will never be arrested or prosecuted for anything because he did nothing wrong. That is a fact you should face that and move on.

I liked George Bush as president, I felt safe with him running things. I wish Jeb Bush would run I'd vote for him.

The 9-11 attack was not his fault. It was a situation taken under advisement that turned out bad. He is not responsible for other peoples actions and hate. He did what he thought was right at the time. That's all you can ask from anyone.

bush did not stop pursuing bin ladin, we will never know the covert activity's that the cia to special forces were doing, it all was a part of the eventual end when they found where he was, nothing stopped, u cant broadcast. what u are doing in that type situation, when working on that mountainous boarder terrain to working in that part of Pakistan what is pro terrorist, its outlaw country in that part of Pakistan, it just took that long to find the clues we needed to be sure we had the correct place,

WOW, i was going to put this in a new topic, but i think here is a good place, i dont know if yall saw it on tv, but it was the memorial dedication in, Pennsylvania where flight 93 went down, i missed a bit of the first, but President Bush , President Clinton, spoke . and some others, the all were good, and Sarah McLaughlin played the piano and sang , " In the arms of the Angels, ( which is posted in the vault or the other place already on the sight,) at the end Chris Mathews, talked how good President Bushes speech was and President Clintons, said when Clinton found out they still owed 10 million on the memorial, he went over to John Bainer, and told him he would come down to Washington and they would do a benefit and get it paid for, , Joe Biden spoke last after the presidents and wifes looked at the wall each panel of marble having one name on each of the 40 that lost their lives, Joe Biden praised President Bush for standing up and not backing away and striking a blow to the ones that were behind the attack in Afghanistan, making America what it is, a country that will not back down or back away, but always strike back if u attack us. he Biden used the analogy, of an American General i forget his name but said the ones on flight 93 that saved the plane from flying into the Capital building, the 40 passengers use the analogy that the American General used, if u want a war LET IT START HERE and they took down the plane in that field in PA. saving countless lives from letting it get to Washington D.C. the familys were there, as they all spoke to them, these terrorist used planes as missiles. in the opening of this war. lets hope the new threat on the anniversary, will not happen or be stopped as we have intel on a new coming attack. as i watched the memorial event and the speeches. i had tears rolling ,, it brought it all back and Sunday the air waves will be full of stories of 9-11, GOD BLESS those 40 souls,
