It was beautiful today, breezy and sunny, can't wait for 55 tonight. The kids will be so busy rolling houses they won't notice the coolness, but I will be loving it.

Second day of rain and more coming, they are calling for 4-8 inches of rain by tomorrow.YUK

Day 3 of rain and now flood advisories for our river. Enough already. Watching the water inch up in the back yard, but on the bright side don't have to mow the back and the flood water kills off the grass for a few weeks.

We're still in our summertime pattern, showers in the afternoon, hot and humid. Next week should be a little improvement. At least you're just getting rain now.

It seems like Louisiana is a magnet for storms, it must be a geographical reason hurricanes always head directly to it. I mean, come on, how any times does it keep getting hit?

This is all from a hurricane that went into Baja moved across Texas and now hammering us, but it is moving north only problem our river starts above Jackson Miss. and they are getting dumped on so all that water is heading south.

Yeah I wasn't in any way making reference to the weather you are having now.

Yeah, and FL is in there 4 times! lol I was just saying before how hurricanes seems go to New Orleans. I said Louisiana but more accurately I mean New Orleans. Out of all the coastlines they could hit they go to New Orleans. It must be in the way of a stream that naturally goes in that direction. The rotation of the earth and other factors are favorable for hurricanes to go to New Orleans. Just a theory that I was wondering if meteorologist support.

Guess once one gets in the gulf it is kinda hard to miss New Orleans, if it goes east or west we still feel some of it.
Just saw hurricane Nadean is still meandering out there 3 weeks now no threat to you or I but it just won't die out.

Looking like Fall may be officially arriving here, temps will drop tonight and the week looks good. One more grass mowing and hopefully that will do it.

This weather is awesome, half finished mowing burning off the last of the limbs broken in the hurricane all my neighbors are doing yard work today. Cool breeze and in the low 50's tonight. Perfect weather.

All good things end for now, back to the mid to upper 80's and the humidy is back but I did get my yard mowed bushes trimmed back and limbs burned. Really wish Fall would come and stay not these teasers we have been getting. I love me some sweats and hot chocolate weather.

Having a major cool down tonight , our temps will drop almost 40 drgrees over night and be windy for the weekend ushering in a cold front. I am ready. Hoping all along the eastern seabord are safe from what the weather people are refering to as Frankenstorm.

37 this morning, loving the sweats weather and not running the ac.

Beautiful day, g-baby went with a friend to Alabama on a train this morning, so my house is way to quiet.

We are in a freeze warning for tonight..sucks

Its gonna get in the upper 30's tonight here but no freeze. Got the heat on now.

Our weather radar is lit up like a x-mas tree we are in for a couple lines of storms today, damn and my grass was finally dying.

Heavy frost this morning and 32 degrees, a tad nippy when I took my daughter to work. G-baby was bundled up waiting on her ride to school. But now ahhhhh a nice cup of hot coffee and a warm house.

Crazy weather here but it will feel like Christmas tomorrow for sure, right now the AC is running.

Hard freeze coming, they just put up the warnings, wish it would make up its mind. AC or heat something has to give and now we have an outbreak of swine flu.
